Introduction

The objective of this training manual is to provide step-by-step instructions on how to purchase data, SMS, and voice bundles on your BBB Connect SIM card.

Responsible Team

This training manual is intended for BBBSO and Contact Centre Agents who are responsible for assisting Sales Force Members who need to purchase data, voice and SMS on their BBB Connect SIM cards.

Process

  1. Section 1: Accessing Bundle Options
    1. Insert the BBB Connect SIM card into your mobile device.
    2. Ensure that your device has network coverage.
    3. Open the phone's dialer app and dial the designated USSD code provided by Cell C to access bundle options.
  2. Section 2: Purchasing Data Bundles
    1. Dial the USSD code provided by the Cell C voucher to access the data bundle options.
    2. Follow the on-screen prompts to select the desired data bundle size (e.g., 500MB, 1GB, 2GB).
    3. Confirm your selection and follow any additional prompts to complete the purchase.
    4. Once the purchase is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation SMS and the data bundle will be activated on your BBB Connect SIM card.
  3. Section 3: Purchasing SMS Bundles
    1. Dial the USSD code provided by the Cell C voucher to access the SMS bundle options.
    2. Follow the on-screen prompts to select the desired SMS bundle size (e.g., 100 SMS, 200 SMS, unlimited SMS).
    3. Confirm your selection and follow any additional prompts to complete the purchase.
    4. Once the purchase is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation SMS and the SMS bundle will be activated on your SIM card.
  4. Section 4: Purchasing Voice Bundles
    1. Dial the USSD code provided by the Cell C voucher to access the voice bundle options.
    2. Follow the on-screen prompts to select the desired voice bundle size (e.g., 30 minutes, 60 minutes, or unlimited calls).
    3. Confirm your selection and follow any additional prompts to complete the purchase.
    4. Once the purchase is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation SMS and the voice bundle will be activated on your SIM card.
  5. Section 5: Checking Bundle Balances
    1. Dial the USSD code provided by the Cell C voucher to check your bundle balances.
    2. Follow the on-screen prompts to view your remaining data, SMS, and voice balances.
    3. Alternatively, you can check your bundle balances through Cell C's mobile app or online portal if available.
