How to set up extensions

Introduction

Before agents can begin using the TaskFlow system, their manager or team leader must first assign them unique extension numbers. These extensions enable each user to receive and make calls.

Responsible Team

  • ICT/TaskFlow
  • Contact Centre Manager
  • Contact Centre Team Leader

Navigate to your TaskFlow dashboard and click on this application: Voice

Navigate as follows to get to the correct screen:

Once the Contact Centre manager or team Leader clicks 'Voice' she will be logged into the system and lands on a screen that looks like this:

Process

To set up 'Extensions':

  1. Click [Configuration] menu item.
  2. Click [Extensions] on the dropdown.
  3. Click [Create], and you will see the screen below:
  4. At the bottom of 'Extensions' list, enter the following:
    1. 'Extension' number
    2. Associated User
  5. Click [Save].
  6. After assigning a user extension, she/he will be able to be receive inbound calls, make outbound calls and can also be added on 'Campaigns'.
  7. To log out, go to your profile on the far top right.
  8. On the dropdown, click [Log out].
