Move a Consultant

Introduction

At the end of the pay-in sheets lines, the 'Manager' writes the new 'Consultant' sales and returns under them before submitting them to BBB. Once the agent notices the new 'Consultant' information, she has to first move this 'Consultant' under the new 'Manager' before capturing their sales and returns. To 'Move the Consultant' to the new 'Manager' follow the process below on Odoo.

Navigate to your Odoo dashboard and click on this application: Sales Force

Navigate as follows to get to the correct screen:

Sales Force(menu item)/Active(Genealogy)/Consultants

Once the 'Sales Force' menu item has been opened, you will land on a screen that looks like this:

Process

  1. Click the Consultant information 'Checkbox' as shown on the screen below:
    1. When there is a need to move a large number of consultants, first;
      1. Click [Filter].
      2. On the dropdown, select 'Add Custom Filter' as shown on the screen below:
      3. On the 'Account No' dropdown, select 'Manager Sales Force Code' as shown on the screen below:
      4. Enter the Manager's sales force code in the space provided.
      5. Click [Apply].
      6. Click the Sales Force Member 'Checkbox' as shown on the screen below:
        Ensure that you have selected all the number of Consultants that are under the respective Manager.
  2. Click [Action].
  3. Click [Move To Another Manager], you should now land on a screen that looks like this:
    1. Enter the following:
      1. In the 'Move Consultant To Manager' section, input the 'New Manager' BBB Code.
      2. On 'Move Date', select the date on the 'Calendar Widget' that you are moving the Consultant.
      3. On 'Move Reason', select the 'Consultant' moving reason.
  4. Click the [Move] button.
    Once you click the move button, the Consultant will move automatically to the new Manager.
  5. Once the 'Consultant' is moved to the new 'Manager', the agent can start capturing their (pay-in sheet sales and returns by clicking 'Add a Line' on the pay-in sheet 'Line'.
