How to Register a Guest on BBB - Guest Wi-Fi

Introduction

This document introduces a method for granting guest Wi-Fi access through SMS. The process begins with BBB employees registering guests by inputting their names and mobile numbers into Odoo. Once registered, guests receive a unique Wi-Fi access code via SMS. This code provides secure and efficient BBB - Guest Wi-Fi network access.

Navigate to your Odoo dashboard and click on this application icon: Help

Please navigate as follows to get to the correct screen: Help/ Guest Wi-Fi

You should now land on a screen that looks like the one below:

Process

  1. Once you land on the screen above, follow the process below to register your guest on Odoo:
    1. Guest Wi-Fi Registration:
      1. Click [Start].
      2. Enter the Name of the guest, and click "Enter" on the keyboard.
      3. Enter the Company Name of the guest and press the "Enter" key on the keyboard.
      4. Enter your guest's Mobile Number and click [Submit] and you will see the screen below:
      5. Press the "Enter" key on your keyboard.
      Wi-Fi Login: The guest will enter the code they received via SMS on the BBB - Guest Wi-Fi login page to connect securely to the network.

FAQs

What should I do if a guest does not receive the SMS?
If a guest does not receive their access code via SMS, ensure the correct mobile number is entered into Odoo. Verify the guest's phone can receive SMS messages. Contact the ICT team for further assistance if needed.
Can multiple guests use the same access code?
No, each access code is unique and tied exclusively to the mobile number of the registered guest for security purposes.
